Statement from Miner on Gubernatorial Debate

November 1, 2018, Albany, N.Y. - Statement from Stephanie Miner about gubernatorial debate:

Tonight’s debate was a great example of civil discourse and spirited discussion on important issues covering all New Yorkers. It’s disappointing that this was the only opportunity to have this kind of inclusive and wide-ranging debate. It’s insulting to voters that Andrew Cuomo refused to participate.

Thank you to the League of Women Voters for hosting the debate and thank you to Howie Hawkins, Larry Sharpe and Marc Molinaro for engaging in dialogue important to the future of this state.

Key Takeaways
  • Miner participated in debate with four of five gubernatorial candidates.
